Hello! My name is Lynette Marling. In selecting the right coach for yourself, it is important that you connect with who your coach is both as a person and as a professional.

After 25 years in various roles within corporate America, I found myself less confident, less passionate, less convinced that I was making any difference. During a “routine” mentoring session with yet another executive, I found myself being asked really hard questions – really PERSONAL questions – like, “what do you want?” and “what do you find yourself doing on days when you’ve had a really great day?” and “is it possible that you are happy?”. VERY different than all of the other mentors I have had. I knew how to play the mentor-game…I’d done it many times before. So what was so different this time?

I was lucky enough to have been assigned a mentor who was also a certified professional coach! And oddly enough, when I answered the question about what is special about my really great days…it was that I too was coaching others!
